The VEDRO FAQ
The details behind what you wear every day.
The Product
Why does VEDRO feel different from a regular T-shirt?
VEDRO starts with the material and the way it is constructed. We use 100% Supima® cotton in a substantial 220 GSM fabric, with a non-mercerized finish and considered proportions. The result is a T-shirt designed to feel more substantial, refined and comfortable without relying on unnecessary detailing.
What makes the VEDRO fabric worth the price?
The difference begins with the fibre. Supima® is a premium extra-long-staple cotton known for its softness, strength and refined feel. VEDRO combines that fibre with a 220 GSM construction and careful finishing, so the price reflects the material and manufacturing standard rather than simply the branding.
Why did you choose 220 GSM for the T-shirt?
We chose 220 GSM to give the T-shirt more substance and presence than a lightweight everyday tee. It creates a more considered drape and hand feel while remaining practical for regular wear.
Is a 220 GSM T-shirt too heavy for everyday wear?
Not necessarily. GSM describes fabric weight, not how warm a garment will feel by itself. VEDRO's 220 GSM cotton is designed to provide substance without making the silhouette unnecessarily bulky. Its suitability will also depend on climate, activity and personal preference.
What does the non-mercerized finish actually mean?
Mercerization is a finishing process that can increase lustre and alter the character of cotton. VEDRO uses a non-mercerized finish to retain a more natural cotton appearance and hand feel, rather than pursuing a pronounced sheen.
Why use 100% Supima® cotton instead of a cotton blend?
We wanted the character of the T-shirt to come from the cotton itself. Using 100% Supima® cotton keeps the fabric composition straightforward while giving us the softness, strength and refined hand feel we want for VEDRO.
The Experience
What should I expect VEDRO to feel like when I first wear it?
Expect a T-shirt with a soft but substantial hand feel, a clean silhouette and enough structure to hold its shape. It is designed to feel understated rather than overly lightweight or overly styled.
Does Supima® cotton actually make a noticeable difference?
The difference is most noticeable in the hand feel and overall fabric character. Supima®'s extra-long fibres can contribute to a smoother, softer and stronger yarn and fabric when properly spun and constructed. The complete experience also depends on the knitting, finishing and garment construction.
Will the T-shirt become softer with wear and washing?
Cotton can develop a softer hand over time with proper care. VEDRO is designed to retain its character rather than become excessively worn-looking. Following the care instructions helps preserve the fabric, colour and shape.
Is VEDRO designed for everyday wear or special occasions?
Everyday wear. VEDRO is built around the idea that an everyday essential deserves the same attention as something reserved for special occasions. Wear it on its own, under a jacket, or as part of a more considered wardrobe.
What makes VEDRO a “quiet luxury” T-shirt?
Quiet luxury is less about visible branding and more about material, proportion and restraint. VEDRO keeps the palette focused, the branding understated and the construction purposeful. The idea is simple: the quality should be felt before it needs to be explained.
Fit & Longevity
How is the VEDRO fit designed?
VEDRO uses considered proportions across the shoulder, chest, sleeve and body length to create a clean contemporary silhouette. The aim is an easy, refined fit that works as an everyday wardrobe essential.
How do I choose the right VEDRO size?
Use our Size Guide and compare the garment measurements with a T-shirt you already own and like wearing. Measure the chest around the garment and compare it with the VEDRO chart. This is more reliable than choosing a size based only on your usual label.
Will the T-shirt lose its shape after repeated washing?
Proper care is important for maintaining any cotton garment. VEDRO's substantial construction is designed for repeated wear, but washing and drying methods can affect shape and dimensions. Follow the care label instructions and avoid unnecessarily harsh washing or high heat.
How should I care for my VEDRO T-shirt?
Follow the garment care label first. As a general approach, wash with similar colours, use a gentle cycle and mild detergent, avoid excessive heat, and do not use harsh bleaching agents. Turning the T-shirt inside out can also help protect the surface and colour.
Will the colour or fabric change over time?
Natural cotton can develop subtle character with use. Proper washing and drying will help preserve the original colour, surface and shape for longer. We recommend following the care label rather than treating the garment with unnecessarily aggressive washing methods.
Making VEDRO
Where are VEDRO T-shirts made?
VEDRO garments are manufactured through our selected production partners in India. We work with specialist suppliers for the fabric and garment-making process, with attention to the material, construction and finishing standards defined for each VEDRO product.
How do you verify the Supima® cotton used in VEDRO?
VEDRO is working through the applicable Supima® supply-chain and traceability process with our supplier. We use the relevant supplier documentation and digital traceability credentials to support the provenance of the Supima® cotton used for our products.
What does the VEDRO Standard actually mean?
The VEDRO Standard is our internal benchmark for what an everyday essential should be. It covers the fibre, fabric weight, finish, fit, construction and colour palette. It is deliberately focused: every element should have a reason to be there.
Why does VEDRO offer only two colourways in Drop 01?
Because a considered wardrobe does not need endless options. Drop 01 focuses on Pearled Ivory and Midnight Black — two versatile colours designed to work across different occasions and wardrobes. We would rather refine a small selection than create choice for its own sake.
Buying VEDRO
Which VEDRO colour should I choose first?
Pearled Ivory is warm, understated and versatile, while Midnight Black is deeper, sharper and timeless. If you want maximum versatility across lighter and neutral wardrobes, start with Pearled Ivory. If black is a core part of your wardrobe, Midnight Black is the natural first choice.
What's the difference between Essential and Signature Packaging?
Essential Packaging is designed for a refined everyday purchase without the full gifting presentation. Signature Brand Packaging adds the complete VEDRO presentation, including the rigid box, branded ribbon, thank-you card, welcome card and branded shopping bag.
Is there a better value when buying two T-shirts?
Yes. Our combo offers are designed to give you a better overall value than purchasing two individual T-shirts separately. The Capsule Duo pairs Pearled Ivory and Midnight Black so you have two core colourways in one considered purchase.
What happens if I order the wrong size?
If your order qualifies under our Returns & Exchange Policy, we can process an eligible size exchange subject to availability. The T-shirt must remain unworn, unwashed and in its original condition with tags attached. Please review the current policy before placing your order.
Shipping
How quickly will my VEDRO order arrive?
Delivery time depends on your location and the courier service used for your order. The estimated delivery timeline is shown at checkout where available, and tracking details are provided after dispatch.
